Sikkim CM chairs high-level meeting; Reviews preparations for PM Modi’s visit


Gangtok, April 15: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sikkim.

The meeting, attended by senior government officials and security agencies, focused on ensuring smooth coordination, security arrangements, and logistical readiness ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival. Key aspects such as venue preparedness, traffic management, accommodation, and public safety were discussed in detail.

Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of ongoing arrangements, including infrastructure readiness and contingency planning. Emphasis was placed on maintaining strict security protocols while ensuring minimal inconvenience to the public.
