Imphal, April 16: In a series of coordinated operations across Manipur, state police achieved significant breakthroughs in their ongoing efforts to curb illegal activities, including drug trafficking, illicit liquor trade, and vehicle theft.
According to official sources, security personnel seized over 2 kilograms of suspected opium during a targeted অভিযান. The contraband was recovered based on specific intelligence inputs, and investigations are underway to identify those involved in the trafficking network.
In a separate operation, police teams confiscated a large quantity of illegal liquor from different locations. The seizure is part of intensified enforcement drives aimed at controlling the unlawful sale and distribution of alcohol in the state.
Additionally, law enforcement agencies successfully recovered several stolen vehicles during search operations. The recovered vehicles are being verified, and efforts are ongoing to trace their rightful owners and apprehend those responsible for the thefts.
