Imphal/New Delhi, April 13: Amid escalating tensions in Manipur following a recent blast in Bishnupur district, state minister Govindas Konthoujam met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss the deteriorating law and order situation.
The meeting comes in the wake of the Bishnupur explosion, which has heightened concerns over security in the region. Sources indicate that Konthoujam briefed Shah on the ground situation, including the impact of the blast on civilian safety and the growing anxiety among local residents.
