Corcom announced Black Day on October 15

Corcom, a conglomerate of various Meitei militants groups in Imphal, have announced the observation of National Black Day on October 15.

The group accused Indian government of forcefully merging Manipur to the Union of India with the instrument of accession signed on 15 October 1949 in Shillong.

The group announced the closure of all public institutions from 6am till 6pm. It also asked the public to fully cooperate.
