Government of Manipur Mandates Shift to e-Seba Portal for Public Services

Imphal, May 4, 2026: The Government of Manipur has announced that all notified citizen services will now be delivered exclusively through the newly launched e-Seba Manipur Portal, marking a major step toward streamlined digital governance in the state.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Information Technology, the e-Seba portal (https://esebamanipur.mn.gov.in/) will serve as the single platform for accessing a range of government services. The directive will come into effect from May 11, 2026.

Under the new system, applications for key services—including domicile and income certificates, OBC, SC, and ST certificates, permanent resident certificates, and employment exchange services such as registration, renewal, and job applications—must be submitted online via the portal.

The government has also confirmed the discontinuation of the existing e-Services portal (https://eservicesmanipur.gov.in/) from the same date. However, applications already submitted through the old platform will continue to be processed in cases where certification is still pending or incomplete.

Officials stated that the transition aims to enhance efficiency, improve transparency, and ensure easier access to public services through a unified digital platform. Citizens have been advised to take note of the changes and comply with the new system.

The notification was issued by Director of IT, G. Robert Sharma, on behalf of the department.
