On the solemn occasion of the 33rd Kuki-Zo Remembrance Day, Thadou Inpi–Sadar Hills pays solemn tribute to the Kuki-Zo martyrs who laid down their lives in pursuit of the long-standing political demand for Separate Administration.

The organisation expressed deep condolences to the families of the martyrs and reaffirmed that the sacrifices made by the Kuki-Zo people—particularly the Thadou community—remain central to the collective struggle. The Thadou community, described as one of the most severely victimised during the ongoing conflict, has endured immense loss, displacement, and suffering, yet remains firm in its political resolve.

The Thadou Inpi–Sadar Hills categorically reiterated its unwavering commitment to the common Kuki-Zo demand for Separate Administration in the form of a Union Territory with Legislature, stating that the sacrifices of the martyrs cannot and will not be diluted, ignored, or compromised.

The organisation also issued a strong warning to Thadou communities across Sadar Hills against falling prey to what it termed misleading propaganda by vested interests. It cautioned that certain elements were falsely using the name of the Thadou to advance appeasement-driven narratives aligned with the Meetei, actions which the organisation said amount to betrayal of the community and a direct threat to Kuki-Zo unity.

Marking the occasion as both the 33rd Remembrance Day and a symbolic reaffirmation of separation from the Manipur Government, the Thadou Inpi–Sadar Hills declared that the political aspiration of the Kuki-Zo people remains clear, unified, and non-negotiable.

The organisation further asserted that it would continue to work hand in hand with brotherly kindred tribes, strengthening unity and solidarity until the legitimate political rights and aspirations of the Kuki-Zo people are fully realised.
