SkyLab Conducted One-Day Free Health Camp; Benefits Over 80 Residents in Kangpokpi


Kangpokpi: A one-day free health camp was successfully organised at SkyLab Healthcare and Diagnostic located at Kalapahar Bazar in Kangpokpi district, providing much-needed medical services to over 80 individuals from the area.

The camp, which commenced at 9:00 AM and concluded at 5:00 PM, witnessed active participation from people belonging to different communities, reflecting a strong collective response toward accessible healthcare initiatives in the district.

Leading the medical team was Dr. Kremson, supported by two staff nurses, three technicians, and one office staff. The team provided free medical consultations and distributed essential medicines to patients attending the camp. While consultation and medicines were offered free of cost, diagnostic services such as tests and ECG were made available at applicable charges.

The primary objective of the health camp was not only to provide basic healthcare services but also to raise awareness about adopting a healthy lifestyle and to educate people on the importance of ethical and appropriate medical treatment.

Speaking on the occasion, the proprietor of Sky Lab Healthcare and Diagnostic, Mang Kipgen, expressed satisfaction over the success of the initiative. He thanked the medical team for their dedicated service and noted that this was the first health camp organised by the facility.

Emphasising future plans, he announced that similar camps would be conducted on a regular basis and urged the public to make full use of such opportunities.

It may be mentioned that SkyLab begin its service last year. It provides a wide variety of medical test at affordable rates to the public around Kalapahar in Kangpokpi district. Presently it enages about five medical practitioners on rotational basis from Monday to Saturday.
