Imphal: The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, has announced a special initiative in connection with the Breast Cancer Observation Days. Organized by the Department of Surgery, the program will run from October 27 to 31, 2025, offering free medical services to all attendees.
According to an official order issued by the Medical Superintendent, Prof. N. Sanjib Singh, the free services will include OPD ticketing, breast ultrasonography screening, and FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) for suspected cases.

The initiative aims to promote early detection and awareness of breast cancer among women in Manipur and neighboring regions. The order was issued with the approval of the Director of RIMS, Imphal.
