President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, celebrated as Parakram Diwas.
President Murmu praised Netaji for awakening courage, unity, and nationalism among Indians and leading the freedom movement globally through the Azad Hind Fauj. Vice President Radhakrishnan highlighted his fearless leadership and enduring inspiration for future generations.
Prime Minister Modi recalled Netaji’s patriotism and contributions, noting initiatives such as the statue near India Gate, the Kranti Mandir museum at Red Fort, and renaming Ross Island as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep. He also remembered the 75th anniversary of the Azad Hind Government, the Tricolour unfurling at Srivijayapuram, and the Netaji Bhawan in Kolkata.
