Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the fourth edition of India Energy Week (IEW) 2026, which begins today in South Goa. Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister will address delegates attending the conclave.
The inaugural ceremony, to be held at Betul village in South Goa district, will be attended by Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Tim Hodgson, and senior ministers from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Global South.
The three-day India Energy Week will focus on enhancing energy security, attracting investments, and promoting practical and scalable pathways for decarbonisation suitable for economies at different stages of development. Delegations from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region are participating, highlighting IEW’s expanding role in global energy diplomacy. The event is expected to draw over 75,000 energy professionals from more than 120 countries.
