Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala tomorrow to inaugurate, lay foundation stones and flag off multiple development projects in Thiruvananthapuram. The initiatives cover rail connectivity, urban livelihoods, science and innovation, healthcare, and citizen services.
Mr Modi will flag off four new train services—three Amrit Bharat Express trains and one passenger train—boosting connectivity between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He will also launch the PM SVANidhi Credit Card and disburse loans to one lakh street vendors to strengthen urban livelihoods and financial inclusion.
In science and healthcare, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the CSIR-NIIST Innovation Hub and a state-of-the-art Radiosurgery Centre at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute. He will also inaugurate the new Poojappura Head Post Office, offering modern postal, banking and digital services.
