The Marketing & Branding Conclave – The NorthEast Connect, organized by DY365 in collaboration with CII Indian Women Network (IWN) Assam Chapter, successfully wrapped up on March 1, 2025, offering a dynamic platform for marketing professionals, industry experts, and entrepreneurs to discuss innovative branding strategies for the region.
The event saw the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Sushmita Phukan (Regional Director, RBI), Dipannita Jaiswal (Chairperson, IWN Assam Chapter & MD, DY365), and Dr. Sriparna Bhuyan Baruah (Co-Chair, IWN Assam Chapter).
A highlight of the conclave was the virtual keynote address by Dr. Annurag Batra (Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld & Founder, Exchange4Media Group), who underscored the growing importance of strategic branding and digital marketing in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
The event featured two engaging panel discussions. The first, Marketing Trends & Transformation, moderated by Dr. Sriparna Bhuyan Baruah, brought together experts such as Chiragh Cherian (Director, Seven Fold Communications), Riddhi Sharma (CEO, Thought In A Dot), Samrat Deka (Director, SRD Nutrients), and Sanghamitra Phukan (Founder, SANGHAMITRA), who shared insights on data-driven marketing, storytelling, and digital-first approaches.
The second panel, Building a Strong Brand Identity, led by Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya (Founder, IIIFL & Tender Petals Chain of Preschools), featured industry leaders including Akash Jyoti Gogoi (Founder, Bahuboli Eggs), Pradeep Purohit (COO, Star Cement), Prashant K Mishra (Co-Founder, SMART IAS FOUNDATION), Sunit Jain (MD, Insight Brandcom), and Vandana Das (Partner, Little Odd Marketeers), who explored consumer psychology, omnichannel marketing, and effective brand positioning.
Adding a lighthearted yet insightful perspective, renowned comedian Anmol Garg, aka Corporate Babaji, entertained the audience with an interactive session on branding, marketing gimmicks, and corporate culture. With its rich discussions and engaging sessions, the conclave proved to be a significant platform for fostering innovative branding strategies tailored to the Northeast market.
