Manipur Police have arrested two teachers in connection with the COHSEM Physics exam question paper leak. Following a complaint registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station, a detailed investigation led to their identification and subsequent arrest.
The arrested individuals are identified as Maibam Sunil Singh, a Physics teacher at Paradise English School, Thoubal, who is also associated with the AOC Exam Centre and operates a private hostel. The other individual is identified as Ningombam Jagdish Singh, a Chemistry teacher at the same school.
Both individuals were taken into custody on March 3 and March 4, 2025, with legal procedures duly followed. Authorities have seized incriminating evidence, including mobile phones, as part of the investigation.
Manipur Police reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the integrity of the examination process and vowed to take strict action against any attempts to undermine the system’s fairness.
