Kangpokpi: In another signs of recovery and gradual development following the Manipur violence, Kangpokpi has taken another step forward with the launch of a new local taxi service connecting Motbung and Kanggui District Headquarters.
The service aims to ease the difficulties faced by daily commuters along the NH-2 stretch, which is currently undergoing four-laning construction. With dust and mud dominating the route, the new taxis promise a reliable, convenient, safe, and comfortable travel option, ensuring quicker and cleaner transportation for residents.
According to the fare list, the rates are as follows: Motbung to Kanggui – ₹150, Motbung to Kalapahar – ₹100, Motbung to Leikop/KMC – ₹70, Motbung to Sapormeina – ₹50, Kanggui to Sapormeina – ₹100, Kanggui to Leikop/KMC – ₹70, and Kanggui to Kalapahar – ₹50.
