Heavy gunfight between Junta mercenaries and pro-democratic forces reportedly claimed dozens of Junta forces belonging to valley-based organizations of Manipur.
The gunfight which began last Sunday at Panda, a bordering township near Moreh, continues till today.
As per sources, a PREPAK leader identified as Sanatomba was amongst the dozens captured and killed by pro-democratic forces today.
Junta mercenaries includes Manipur based terrorists groups such as UNLF, KYKL, PLA and NSCN-IM. On the other hand, the pro democratic forces includes ethnic arm groups such as KIA, CNF, PDF and KNA-B.
