Kabul Restaurant Blast Kills 7, Injures Dozens in Afghanistan

At least seven people, including a Chinese national, were killed and around a dozen others injured in an explosion at a restaurant in Kabul’s Shahr-e-Naw district, Afghanistan. The restaurant was operated jointly by Chinese Muslims and Afghans. Abdul Mateen Qani, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry, confirmed that the blast caused both fatalities and injuries but did not provide exact figures. The Afghan affiliate of the Islamic State claimed responsibility, stating that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
