India and UAE Unite Against Terrorism, Commit to Doubling Bilateral Trade by 2032

India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to double bilateral trade to $200 billion by 2032, during talks between PM Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in New Delhi. The two countries signed agreements in Defence, Space, Energy, and Food Safety.

Key initiatives include a strategic defence partnership, joint space infrastructure projects, a supercomputing cluster in India, and UAE participation in developing a special investment region in Dholera, Gujarat, featuring an international airport, pilot training school, smart township, railway and energy projects.

Other agreements cover HPCL-Adnoc Gas deals, civil nuclear cooperation, and UAE investments in GIFT City. The “House of India” cultural center will also be established in Abu Dhabi.
