According to the weather agency, places across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad are likely to experience intense rain accompanied by thunderstorms.

The Met Department has further predicted that thunderstorms, along with lightning and gusty winds, will continue to affect parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, and Rajasthan until tomorrow. These weather conditions may lead to localized disruptions and residents are advised to remain cautious.

In addition, the IMD stated that similar weather patterns are expected to prevail over Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal over the next two days, with intermittent rainfall and thunderstorm activity likely in these regions.

The weather agency has also forecast dense fog conditions over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on the 24th of this month, which could reduce visibility during early morning hours. Meanwhile, the Met Department has indicated a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by two to three degrees Celsius across parts of Central India over the next two days, signaling a slight warming trend in the region.
