Taking full responsibility over the failure of FOCS to organise Peace Expedition, the President of Federation of Civil Societies (FOCS) has submitted his resignation from the post he hold today citing multiple reasons.
In a statement, he stated that he failed the people of Manipur as he could not reach Senapati in what is called a “Peace Expedition” yesterday. Manihar blamed security forces for stopping them at several places which makes them difficult to reach the set destination.
Meanwhile, he also take full moral responsibility to what went viral in social media where he stated that “Manipur belongs to Meiteis and few sections of Nagas”, excluding Meitei Pangals which irked them.
He however stated that he will do whatever is required and fitting for a better and peaceful Manipur.
