In an unfortunate incident, a St. Joseph College Jakhama (Autonomous) bus carrying around 20 students met with an accident, injuring most of the students on board. The incident happened near Kigwema village around 2 pm on Tuesday while returning to Kohima after school. Around 20 students onboard were injured. Six to seven of them were initially taken to the Army Hospital, Zakhama, for first aid treatment while the remaining were rushed to Bethesda Hospital, of whom one male student is in serious condition.
