The Meitei militant group Arambai Tenggol has commended Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his role in promoting peace and stability in Manipur.
In an official statement signed by its information secretary Robin Mangang, the group credited Shah’s leadership for ensuring the safety and well-being of the people amid ongoing challenges.
The organization also extended appreciation to Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla for his swift actions and reassurances following recent discussions with its representatives.
Notably, Arambai Tenggol welcomed the government’s move to reopen two National Highways, emphasizing its significance in enhancing connectivity and accessibility across the state.
The group further lauded the progress in fencing the Indo-Myanmar border, highlighting its role in safeguarding territorial integrity and strengthening security.
Additionally, it voiced strong support for the Governor’s anti-drug trafficking measures, advocating for a drug-free Manipur. The dismantling of illegal bunkers was also acknowledged as a critical step toward restoring peace and stability.
Reaffirming its commitment to initiatives that foster normalcy, Arambai Tenggol called for collective efforts in building a peaceful and progressive Manipur. The group concluded its statement with an appeal for unity, urging all stakeholders to collaborate in shaping a harmonious future for the state.
