Amrit Udyan Scheduled to Open to the Public on February 3

The Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open to the public from the 3rd of next month until March 31.

According to a statement issued by the President’s Secretariat, the garden will remain open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry permitted at 5:15 PM. The Udyan will be closed on Mondays for maintenance and on March 4 on account of Holi.

An Akashvani correspondent reports that entry to the Amrit Udyan will be free for all visitors. Visit slots can be booked online through visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in or offline via self-service kiosks installed outside Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

To facilitate visitors, a shuttle bus service will operate every 30 minutes from the Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM. The shuttle buses will be marked with the banner “Shuttle Service for Amrit Udyan.”

Visitors are permitted to carry mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles, and umbrellas inside the garden. No other items will be allowed.
