After Kukis, Naga chiefs raised its opposition of fencing along Indo-Myanmar border

The Naga Village Chiefs Federation Manipur has strongly objected to the Government of India and the Manipur government plan to fence the Indo-Myanmar border.

A statement issued by its Secretary stated that border fencing infringes the rights of Naga nation and demanded it be stopped immediately.

It also informs Naga chiefs to be vigilant over the development and asks them to be ready for any eventuality.

It may be mentioned, Kuki leaders and civil societies have raised strong objection over the government plan to fence the border few months ago.
