Huge cache of arms recovered

A search operations and area domination conducted by security forces in the fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts led to the recovery of various arms and ammunitions yesterday.

The recovered items include: 01(one) no. of CMG, 01(one) no. of Tear gas gun, 01(one) no. 9mm pistol, 01 (one) no. of 9mm Pistol Magazine, 14 (fourteen) nos. live rounds, 01 (one) no. of .303 sniper rifle, 01 (one) no. of SBBL, 01 (one) no. of IED weighing 1.35 kg approx., 03 (three) nos. of HE hand grenade, 02 (two) nos. of tear smoke grenade, 01(one) no. of Baofeng radio set, 02 (two) no. of blank rounds, 05 (five) nos. of Anti-riot rubber bullets, 03 (three) nos. of 36 tube launching 1A, 01 (one) no. of tear smoke shell 50m, 01 (one) no. of tear smoke shell chilli 135m, 01 (one) no. of tear smoke shell CS, 02 (two) nos. WP grenade no 80, 02 (two) nos. of wood piercing shell, 01 (one) no. 36 grenade arming ring, 01 (one) no. of tear smoke shell normal, 01 (one) no. of tear smoke shell soft nose, 01 (one) no. of Dye marker grenade anti-riot from the general foothill areas of IVR road in between Aigejang village and Uyok, Bishnupur District.
