Project Nimbus is a joint venture between Google and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to supply the Israeli government with cloud computing infrastructure, artificial intelligence (AI), and other tech services.
The deal will make the Israeli government and its military access to millions of data which are available in could services of both the companies.
The project which began in 2021 amount to $2.1 billon. However, employees at Google and Amazon have been protesting against the agreement that millions of its customers could be an easy target for the Israeli government.
