New Delhi, April 11: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the examination schedule for the Constable (GD) recruitment in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Special Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles for 2026.
According to the official notification, the examination will be conducted nationwide from April 27 to the end of May 2026 across multiple centres.
In a move aimed at improving candidate convenience and streamlining the examination process, SSC has introduced a new feature allowing candidates to select their preferred examination week. Candidates will need to log in to the designated portal using their credentials and indicate their choice of examination window.
The examination will be conducted in four phases:
Week 1: April 27 to May 2, 2026
Week 2: May 4 to May 9, 2026
Week 3: May 18 to May 23, 2026
Week 4: May 25 to May 30, 2026
Candidates are required to submit their order of preference for all available weeks. The window for submitting preferences will remain open from 3:00 PM on April 11, 2026, to 5:00 PM on April 15, 2026.
SSC has advised all applicants to regularly check its official website for further updates and detailed instructions regarding the examination process.
