CM Y. Khemchand Holds Meeting with Saitu MLA Haokholet Kipgen, Reaffirms Commitment to Peace and Development


Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Saturday shared a social media update highlighting a “constructive and cordial” meeting with Saitu Assembly Constituency MLA Haokholet Kipgen.

According to the Chief Minister’s post, the meeting was held at the MLA’s residence, where both leaders discussed issues related to governance, development, and the overall situation in the region.

Khemchand expressed appreciation for the MLA’s hospitality and described the interaction as valuable in shaping efforts toward “inclusive development and responsive governance.”

The Chief Minister also acknowledged the role of the Kangpokpi district administration, thanking the Deputy Commissioner for the reception extended during the visit. He noted that such engagements contribute to strengthening collective efforts aimed at restoring peace and normalcy in the state.

Emphasizing long-term goals, Khemchand stated that the government remains focused on ensuring stability, progress, and prosperity in Manipur. He reiterated that these efforts are aligned with the broader national vision of development under Narendra Modi.

Khemchand, who assumed office as Chief Minister in February 2026, has consistently stressed peace-building and development as key priorities for the state administration.
